Zen Outdoor Patio

The homeowner was tired of the cookie cutter, mundane look of the typical Las Vegas backyard. To keep in line with HOA requirements, large format tile, in a color closest to the existing stucco, was installed on the back wall of the home. We framed in the patio sides and added an electric fireplace and outdoor kitchen. Closing in the patio provides more privacy from the neighbors. Marble look, matte porcelain tile surrounds the fireplace, kitchen and extends to the back wall of the deck, for continuity. The center column was bearing so it could not be fully removed. Instead, we opened the middle to make the view as unobstructed as possible.
