HGTV's "Vacation House for Free" Extensive Makeover

The transformations we made in this home were drastic to say the least. Gutting the kitchen completely and opening up the space more to the dining room started us off. Removing the dropped ceiling with the old fluorescents really brought us up to date. We then installed Custom made Blue Laminate Cabinets, White Quartz Countertops, Gray and White Porcelain floor tile, recessed lighting, Unique Pendant lighting and stainless steel appliances, Chrome and Crystal cabinet Pulls give a distinctive touch. Open Shelving and the Glass and Stainless range hood set off this very Contemporary space with a uniqueness unsurpassed.

If you could have seen the master before you wouldn't believe it is the same room. Again, gutting the space made way for the beauty that now rests in this space. New custom made expresso wood cabinets with open shelving and bases adorned by a white quartz countertop and round vessel sinks begin the transformation. Removing the master tub and shower opened up that space to provide the client with a full size shower with rain head/body spray/hand spray systems at both ends for a his & hers water retreat. Glass panels enclose the space just enough to contain the water inside.

Out with the old corner brick fireplace and in with the new Linear See Through fireplace that brings the outdoors into the family room. Textured white tile sets of the facade which is also used at the back-splash of the kitchen to tie the two spaces together.

Fresh paint throughout including the living room brick fireplace that received a much needed mantle and a fresh blue color to give it some character.

We also made a new impression on the front and backyard landscaping as well. A new shade sail gives welcome shade by the pool while the linear indoor/outdoor fireplace brings warmth to the outside during the winter months.

New desert landscape in the front yard with fresh ground cover rock makes this one dreary yard look alive again.
